If you have celebrated 17th May at Tollbua before, or visited us since opening in February 2024, then you know we take wining and dining very seriously! And if there is one day on the Norwegian calendar which demands the popping of great bottles, and the serving of delightful food, then it is our day of national celebration.
This year we are serving a luxury version of our Saturday three-course lunch, complete with some seasonal classics and these special Tollbua touches which will elevate your dining experience:
Green Asparagus with smoked salmon, fermented asparagus sauce & wild garlic
Lamb, accompanied by black garlic, summer cabbage & rosemary
Norwegian ‘Fløterand’, with strawberries, elderflower & vanilla
17th May three-course lunch, just 895,- per person.
Includes glass of Champagne upon arrival!

Of course it would not be a proper 17th May celebration without something outstanding in the glass… at least not when doing it in style at Tollbua!
Wine pairing and Champagne pairing is available, as well as a special alcohol-free drink pairing. If you would prefer to select something from our extensive wine list please do so, either on the day or ahead of time (so that we can prepare the bottle accordingly ahead of your visit).
There are two seating times available this year:
12 midday – 1pm, with the possibility to purchase a specially-adapted kid’s three-course menu for 595,- (only available during first seating). The table is yours for two hours or until the start of the next seating.
3pm – 5pm. No time limit on second seating, stay as long as you like!

This year we are offering a fantastic food box, with the best of Tollbua’s catering, to be enjoyed with friends and family on your 17th May breakfast.
The package is curated by Christopher Davidsen and includes high quality ingredients like homemade roast beef, Coppa skinke from Tind, Skagenrøre and the restaurant’s very own smoked salmon. You can also pimp it with tasty additions, ranging from our killer new hot wings and range dip, to boxes of Oscietra Gold caviar (Christopher’s favourite!).
