About the wines and the region
Poderi Aldo Conterno is located in the village of Monforte d’Alba, right in the heart of the Barolo DOCG. The vineyards sit at high altitude with limestone-rich soils – ideal conditions for elegant yet powerful wines. The estate is particularly known for its pure, red-fruited Barolo style, balancing intensity and power with finesse and precision. In addition to its iconic Barolos, Aldo Conterno also produces whites and Nebbiolo wines that show impressive freshness and complexity.

Chef’s Kitchen is a large private dining space, which is used for events. The light and airy room has its own fully serviced kitchen and it’s also where Christopher Davidsen likes to test out his new recipes.
