Fisketorget, Stavanger
Located in the heart of Stavanger’s harbour, Fisketorget is a vibrant seafood restaurant and fishmonger known for its dynamic “sea-to-plate” approach, serving seasonal catch delivered fresh several times daily. Their celebrated fish soup, made with high-quality local ingredients, has earned a devoted following.
Karl Erik Pallesen – chef, manager, and co-owner (also part-owner in Matboden Rogaland) – leads the kitchen with creativity and passion. A former member of Norway’s national cooking team, he builds menus around the day’s catch, reflecting both his culinary skill and deep respect for local produce.
Best of all, Karl Erik is also great friends with Tollbua Chef patron, Christopher Davidsen. The two chefs are now excited to announce the launch of a collaboration they have been scheming for many months!
